Groups are gatherings in living rooms, bars, and restaurants all around Houston, and at church, who commit to weekly rhythms of connection, learning, and prayer to become more like Jesus.
At branches we distinguish between two sorts of communities: large groups and small groups.
Large Groups like Manly Men, Abide, and 20s and 30s connect our community by affinity, age, stage, and gender in larger numbers to help folks find their place at branches and find connection.
Small Groups like Triads or branches Communities are smaller gatherings committed to walking the path of spiritual growth together.
Abide, our women’s ministry, meets on Monday Mornings to study, pray, and grow together with other women in our community.
Manly Men meets on Tuesday Mornings to grow in our spiritual lives and leadership as men who follow Jesus. We typically read a book, go through a video series, or hear teaching from Pastor Colin on a wide variety of topics. You can click below or text manly to 55498.
Triads are groups of 3-4 people of the same gender who meet weekly and practice three rhythms of connection, learning, and prayer.
You can start a Triad any time and Pastor Colin will personally walk your group of 3-4 through every step of the process.
Communities are classic church small groups — a group of 12-15 people who commit to weekly gatherings to build relationships, walk the path of discipleship to Jesus, and rely on one another for prayer.
